When you create custom views, then use them in your layout, its like they are 'cached', i.e. the signature of your custom view is saved on the layout as soon as its used on a layout.
Now after you update the custom view code and recompile your library, e.g. rename a property, add a new method, delete a property, the "old signature" of the custom view "signature" still exists on your layout. This does not seem to be affected by clicking save for the layout either. I could be wrong.
Solution:
To reflect new changes of your custom view at times one needs to delete the old custom view from the layout and add the new custom view again
Proposal:
What if there was a 'rebuild' button, so that your custom views are recreated on the layout with the latest versions available. The 'old signature' is deleted from the layout and created with a new one.
