Layout selection

Hi,
If several layouts are created, what criteria are used by the phone to select the most suitable one - is it, for example, scale, dpi, or other?
Also, with designer scripts do 'all variant' scripts override those written for single variant, or vice versa.

The layout (width and height) and scale are considered.

The "all variant" script runs first and then the specific variant script.
