Since with newer android versions, the Bluetooth discovery is now locked behind the location services and it requires to be enabled. I really dont like this so I want to try a different approach.
Is it possible to get a list of already paired devices?
Instead of my app scanning/discovering bluetooth devices, it could simply look at the pre-existing paired device list instead and filter by MAC.
any ideas? Thanks.
