B4R Code Snippet M5 Stick-C

Hi,

I am playing a little bit with this device:





M5StickC is a ESP32 development board for rapid prototying .

• ESP32-based
• Built-in 6-Axis IMU
• Red LED
• IR transmitter
• Microphone
• Buttons, LCD(0.96 inch)
• Built-in Lipo Battery
• Extendable Socket

The Arduino examples are running good and i startet to use the Device with B4R.
in the Arduino IDE you have to install the M5-Stick library

I'm build my first wrapper's and learn a lot about librarys.
Thanks to the forum members.

M5StickC AXP192 Power managment

the AXP192 is a highly integrated power system management chip

you need the library for battery charge and to switch the Display and RTC

M5StickC 0.96 inch, 80*160 TFT LCD, ST7735S

to use the TFT Display i have to make some changes in the original Adafruit ST7735 library to get it work

I was not able to wrap the library.
There is a problem to pass the float variable to B4R an get a result.

after a few days and a lot of reading about variables and pointers....i use inline-C without any problem

M5StickC Built-in RTC BM8563

I have wrap the I2C_BM8563 library to use the built in RTC clock

M5StickC I2C bus

the device has two I2C bus

bus0 for the built in I2c devices IMU-RTC-Power
bus1 can be used with the grove connector.

rwblinn has written a helper program to scan the I2c bus.

this works with M5Stick too.
to scan bus1 you have to change in Erel's wire library

M5StickC Hardware UART
On ESP32 there are 3 Hardware UART available.

attache a simple code to use it.
