Making wallpaper icon not show up on app tray

Hello everyone, hope everyone had a great weekend, i have a question regarding wallpapers, i have seen some live wallpaper apps, when you downloaded them yo u do not see the icon on your applications, you can only see it when you go the the live wallpaper settings, does anyone know how this is achieved, i really would like to implement this on my wallpaper apps.

Add this line to the manifest editor:

AddReplacement(<action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" />,)

Note that the application will not run automatically when you install it.

By removing this attribute the main activity can not be started from a launcher.

Hi Erel, thanks for the suggestion, i inserted your suggestion in the manifest file, but i can still the icon in the applications tray, is there anything i'm missing?

It is not visible when I test it here. Try the attached project.
