Media player effects control

Is there any way to control the effects / Reverb on the mediaplayer from within B4a?

I am playing a midi file which is drowning in reverb, even if I play it directly and not through B4a. On my PC the same midi file is completely dry.

You can use SoundPool to change the pitch / rate effects. Not sure if it is relevant...

No, that's not the one unfortunately. It's part of the AudioEffect Object described here:

AudioEffect | Android Developers

This object is only available from Android 2.3.

That makes sense, there are apps on the market that control the effects but only from 2.3 as you say.

Oh well, I guess the reverb stays.
