Menu Background

Though I doubt it, is there any means of changing the background color of the Activity menu and dialogs? Overlaying a red panel probably won't do the trick as the menu is at the top of the z-index.

Reason being for asking, astronomy applications often require that the entire screen turns to dark red to assume night view mode.

The regular menu doesn't support changing its background.

For the dialogs you can probably use agraham's CustomDialog and set it as needed.

Thank you, Erel, that's fine with me. I can put together a custom menu with bitmap drawable Labels on a Panel with the required colors.
The dialogs will be harder to manage
