Menu Icon, API >=11

Greetings,

I'm considering using an API higher than 10 but will lose the menu icon. Is there a way to add a menu icon to the Home and Back buttons if using API >= 11? If not, what's the next best option?

There will be a three dots menu icon in the title bar on Android 4+ devices that do not have a physical menu button.

If not, what's the next best option?

Provide a different way to open the menu. For example with a button. Use Activity.OpenMenu to open the menu programmatically.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, it won't be as good as before because, either the three dots will be too small to be easily used or I'll have to carve out screen space for another button.
