Android Question Metered Connections

Hi there

I have been asked to check if my device is on a metered connection which if true will not process some actions which have lengthy upload/download processes. I know there is a way of determining a wifi connection but how can I check for a metered connection and also can I determine if I have 3g or 4g too? Many thanks,

Thanks for responding. How can I check for the connection type in code? There is an android property can identify a metered connection but I don't see it in B4A.. I saw it online somewhere. My client wants to only perform certain downloads with 3G, 4G or wifi connections. I can test for wifi but how do I test for 3/4G?
