Microsoft to start killing off VBScript in second half of 2024

Microsoft announced today that it will start deprecating VBScript in the second half of 2024 by making it an on-demand feature until it's completely removed.

Why blame the language not the OS?

By the way VBScript is a bad naming like JavaScript.

I use it alot at work (e.g. to create XML files on servers) and for my side job to send emails via Outlook (B4J as thr base app). So still plenty of time to replace it with powershell.
