Missing file aapt.exe

Hi,

Trying to compile my first app, I get the error cannot find:

C:\program files\android\android-sdk\windows\paltforms\android-10\tools\appt.exe

I have carefully installed Java & Android according to directions. I have configured paths also. But there is no Tools folder in Android-10. These is a Tools folder in Android-8, but no appt.exe file.

Any ideas about where I went wrong. (32-bit Vista)

You should configure the path to use android-8 instead of android-10.

The above mentioned tip didn't work for me. The file was still missing.
I copied the 'platform-tools' folder into my C:\Android\android-sdk\platforms\android-8\ directory and renamed it to 'tools'.
Now, that got it going!!

Hope this saves someone many hours of frustration.
