B4R Question MQTT broker on ESP8266 device?

Is it possible to implement MQTT broker (running as service) on WeMos board (ESP8266)? If so can we have a broker library?

It is not possible. You can use RPi or one of the similar SoC.

Because there is no ram or cpu resource or because there is no library resource?

Lack of threads and RAM make it very difficult to implement a broker or a http server.

As I see it, it is not the correct tool for that. The Arduino and ESP8266 excel in other areas.
