Hi, I'm trying to insert a Mysql database of images in the db I have 4 fields with photos, to insert them I'm first compressing the image, thus reducing the image kb, and then I display them in an "ImgCa1 As B4XView, 2 ,3,4 ", then when I store it in the MySql db I encode it" Base64EncodeDecodeImage.Base64ImageToString2 (bitmap1) ", in the mysql db with the Photo table and use" Type LongText ", but when I send the data in the db and slow to archive the 4 photos , and then in the db I see how much space is occupied in the table about 3.24Mb is occupied, instead when I compress the four photos saved in the compression directory of the mobile phone they are just 200Kb. greetings and thanks for your help

The question is: do I have to save an image, in the mysql database as little as possible to ensure that the DB does not grow too large over time

Hi aeric, can you recommend some examples, or where to see to understand how to store the images inside a folder on the server? Thanks
