Perhaps I am expecting the navigate buttons to do something different to what they actually do.
I expect them to remember every place I have edited in the code and remember and navigate through this history.
This does not happen. Therefore they are not a substitute for bookmarks.
So what function do the navigate buttons actually have?
If I create a new project and click in several subs without editing, Navigate back works, taking me back through the history.
But if I edit the project, for example by adding some subs, the Navigate buttons have no effect.
I assume now that the purpose of the Navigate buttons is to remember places the cursor has visited, rather than remember places you have edited.
The behaviour of navigate buttons is very strange.
When you open on a project and move to different subs they work fine.
After you begin to edit the project, you need to click them each 3 or 4 times before they have any effect.
After a short time they stop working altogether.
Wow, that looks REALLY GOOD.
Is the history stored in the meta file so it will be remembered between sessions? I guess not, but it might be useful...???
