Android Question Need guide in creating joystick controller

Hello everyone, I'm sorry if this is a newbie question. But I need guide to create a simple game pad like application for my mobile robot (similar to image attached). I appreciate any ideas/link how to I start creating one.

Hi, Sorry it took me a while to get back...I was busy with other task. I download Erel's Multi touch Gamepad sample program..but I'm getting an error when compiling..

Compiling code.                        Error
Error parsing program.
Error description: Unknown type: gestures
Are you missing a library reference?
