Networking: USB powered Ethernet Hub

Strange question, just to check if someone knows about such a beast exists or not.
I need to perform some ethernet sniffing on the road, so I'm searching for an ethernet hub (so traffic is visible from all ports) that can be powered by the Notebook USB port itself.
I've found some 4 ports USB-powered ethernet switches, but since they are unmanaged, they can't be configured with a span port for sniffing.
Using a hub will solve the span issue, but hubs seems to be out of fashion in this century...

I googled this way and got a bunch of things but not sure that these are what you want since #1 seems to point in another direction to me.....

EDIT Incidentally - I just went back because I recall having one of these at my old office. The images one sees in searches look like simple USB stick hubs, but there are the ones where one can sometimes just see the Ethernet port on the one end of them : (Maybe that assists? otherwise excuse the interruption ?.)
