Android Question NFC Confusion

Hi All

I have an NFC sticker in front of me that we want to be able to read.
Running the NFCAdvanced example posted by Erel I have got a 'TAG_DISCOVERED' and the GetTechList returns >> [android.nfc.tech.NfcA, android.nfc.tech.MifareUltralight, android.nfc.tech.NdefFormatable]

This is obviously not Ndef which the example is expecting so how do I read the data on the tag?
Have looked at loads of different NFC examples on here but they just get me more and more confused!

IS the tag formatted? Or is is a blank unformatted tag which you need to format first?

I assume it is formatted. Someone has written to it but not said how (I guess it is just a play store app) and challenged me to access it on my phone.

Working with non-ndef tags is more difficult. I recommend you to start with a NFC reader app and understand how the data is stored.
