I know this may sound odd but I want to develop an app that just reads the card number from a smart card -
Such as touch card or the cards that are used for concessionary cards for pensioners. As I understand it all these cards have a unique number associated with the card and have an intrinsic card value - the plastic card reference and not account or other detail. I am also to undertsand that these cards emit an FM signal - very low frequency - hence my thoughts re NFC...
Is this possible and how would I go about doing it?
