Hi All,
I see no log information in the right hand pane except for
"LogCat connected to: B4A-Bridge: HUAWEI HUAWEI Y210-0200-869336011396346". this line is cleared if i hit the clear button and comes back if i hit the connect button. this is the same if i uncheck the filter tick box.
The debug functions OK.

I am connected in WiFi mode
B4A 2.71
Android version 2.3.6

Erel and warwound many thanks for the input.

I looked at the link above and found the drivers required to make the USB debugging work, so im one step closer as USB connection between B4A and PC did not work at all before :) although phone to PC worked fine.

When i connect via usb (with the debug option set on the phone) i now get this in B4A log window

"Unable to open log device '/dev/log/main': No such file or directory"

Im guessing this is due to the phone NOT being rooted? I had a look around at tips for rooting this device but there seems to be a lot of comments regarding things that don't work normally after the phone is rooted............scary territory indeed. My project requires around 50 devices per kit so the way i see it is i root one phone for development purposes, all the phones that leave here to the customer are unrooted.

Thanks again
Ray
