Android Question Oreo hotspot

Is there anybody that can make a library that sorts out the problem with android 8 hotspot.
I've found this code Github but dont know how to go forward.
It is code from aegis1980 / WifiHotspot

Android no longer allows regular apps to do it. I haven't tried that project, which uses aggressive ways to call private APIs, but based on the issues you cannot set the SSID and password.

I've installed the app and when you want to create a task that starts the hotspot it says:

I haven't tested whether it actually works.

It is better to include all details in your first post. In that case it might work.

I also see that in the code the coder says that he will extract the ssid and password of OS and will use that. So it must be possible to define the ssid and password.
