I'm wondering if it would be handy if we share some stats so that we know which Android versions we still need to support. Below are some of my stats for a certain app. As you can see biggest chunk is Android 2.3.3 - 2.3.7, which is API level 10.

However, 2.2 is also still on 13.23% which is API level 8.

So I guess we need to support API level 8 (Froyo) as a minimum which pretty much sucks.

I think that depends on how you monetize your app. I have seen stats that indicate that paid for apps have a different distribution to free apps with advertising (which is hardly a surprise).
