This will show how little I know. I have no android hardware. I would like to view a video on the emulator. So far I copied the View Video code, but I do not know how to download a video file and what the addressing shoule be in the code to find the file. Another word I have no idea of how the android products work.

There are several threads about file downloading. I recommend you to use HttpUtils: Basic4android Search: download file
Once the file was downloaded to the sd card you can play it with VideoView (in Audio library).
