Android Question Password & autocomplete

Hi to all,
I'm testing my app on Samsung Galaxy Tab2 (ICS) and I have a problem about password field.

The field is set as "Password" and the text is hidden but the autocomplete of the text is enable and when the user is typing the password the text prevision modify the text written.

There is a way to disable the autocomplete programmatically on the fields of type "password" ?
