@MarcoRome
Try download the v2 AAR above and replace the aar you are using now and see if this works already...
Hi Don, replacing the Pdfium.androidx.aar file with the new library works and is 16kb compatible.
I've noticed a few things:
While the "old" library used:
lblPages.Text = $"${page-1}/${glPages}"$
now with the new one the count is:
lblPages.Text = $"${page+1}/${glPages}"$
Also, in the PdfiumAndroid-2.0.0-release.aar library, they've updated the arm64-v8a directory, leaving the other directories (which aren't of much interest to us) unchanged, since:

arm64-v8a
64-bit ARM (ARMv8-A).
This is the standard for modern Android devices (almost all recent smartphones).
It uses 64-bit registers, better performance, and more addressable memory.

armeabi-v7a
32-bit ARM (ARMv7-A).
Compatibility with older devices.
Still useful for apps that need to run on older phones, but Google Play has required 64-bit support since 2019.

x86
32-bit Intel x86.
Few Android devices used it (older tablets/phones with Intel Atom CPUs).
Now almost gone.

x86_64
64-bit Intel x86.
Even rarer in Android (some emulators, Chromebooks with Intel).
Used mostly in testing/emulation.

mips and

mips64
32- and 64-bit MIPS.
Support dropped: Android NDK hasn't supported them for years.
In practice, they're not needed: if you see them, it's because third-party libraries distributed them in the past, but they aren't used on real devices.
So, if you use emulators, be careful (it could be misleading).
I wrote a script with the help of ChatGPT to check if apk, aar, and so are compatible with 16kb (I'll open another thread for this).
After modified the result is:
where PDFiumEx16.apk is compilated (OK ) with the new library while 8 is compilated (KO) with the old one
Thanks
