iOS Question Problem with Local Mac Builder Installation

Compiling code. (0.00s)
Compiling layouts code. (0.00s)
Compiling debugger engine code. (0.00s)
Building Xcode project (0.11s)
Sending data to remote compiler. Error
(lOException) java.io.lOException: /Users/ <user id> /Library/Developer/Xcode/
DerivedData is not a folder.

What am I supposed to do?

Open terminal and run this command:

mkdir  ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData

What happens after you try to compile?

Have you ran Xcode at least once? It should install additional components when it starts.
