Problem With Phone Call

I'm facing a strange problem. Check my code first

Sub Dial_Click
Dim a As String
a = "*555*1234567890123456#"
Dim ph As PhoneCalls
   
Try
   StartActivity(ph.Call(a))
Catch
   Msgbox("Error while calling", "Error")
End Try
End Sub

But when I'm pressing Dial button, my phone is dialing *555*1234567890123456. For some reason, # is being missed.

What's the wrong I did?

You should encode # as %23"

a = "*555*1234567890123456%23"
