Android Question Problem with umlauts (äöü) with the simple push framework

When I register my device with Erel's simple push framework with umlauts (äou) i get in the HandleMessage-Sub not the real name. For example, when I register with 'Stämmö', I get as result the name

Stämmö

I have tried the

Sub UnMIME(s2match As String, CharSet As String) As String

, but it's the same problem...

Does anybody knows the problem?

You can do the following workaround:
- Encode the message to base64 string on the device before you send the message.
- Decode it back to an array of bytes and then call BytesToString to convert it to a string.
