LWGShane Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 21, 2015 #1 I have no idea why it does this, but with the "fall update" for Windows 10, UIs created in the Scene Builder now look like this: (I have loaded the correct layout file, occurs on both BJL and FXML) I would seriously love to know why this happens.

LWGShane Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 22, 2015 #3 @Erel No. I have to note that before the fall update for Windows, the Unified style worked perfectly.

Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 23, 2015 #4 What is the output of this line: Code: Copy Log(GetSystemProperty("java.version", ""))
LWGShane Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 23, 2015 #5 @Erel The IDE reports "1.8.0_60". Oh, and what happened to @Daestrum's post?
Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 23, 2015 #6 Please try it with the latest JDK (8u66): http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html

LWGShane Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 23, 2015 #7 @Erel - Still the same. I honestly think it's time for B4J to go native or to switch to another framework like Qt. (With Wt as the back-end for web apps.) Last edited: Nov 23, 2015

Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 23, 2015 #8 B4J is based on Java. It cannot be switched to QT. Overall JavaFX is quite stable and Oracle are fixing bugs and improving it. Does the WYSIWYG window work for you? BTW, I've tried to reproduced it here and it worked properly on Windows 10.

LWGShane Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 23, 2015 #9 OK, the weirdest thing: I tested it on my Mac mini and the unified theme works perfectly on OS X. Question: What is your GPU? Does it happen to be an AMD? Erel said: Does the WYSIWYG window work for you? Click to expand... No. The WYSIWYG Preview window displays the same thing as the produced apps.

I deleted it as I think it was a programming error that caused it. Having said that, I seem to have two types of window now , Utility and not utility - decorated , unified etc all look the same. Out of interest are you on 10 home or pro ?

Daestrum Expert Licensed User Longtime User Nov 23, 2015 #12 Same here on this comp. I have noticed another program that has stopped working on 10 home, but continue to work on my 10 pro machine. The cause is an error related to graphics (unhandled kernel mode exception). I will try installing B4J on the 10 pro and see if its the same.

LWGShane Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 23, 2015 #13 @Daestrum @Erel I've solved the issue! The theme name is case sensitive. Change this: Code: Copy Form.SetFormStyle("UNIFIED") To this: Code: Copy Form.SetFormStyle("Unified") The next update should change/fix this. Video demonstration:

Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 24, 2015 #14 It didn't really solve the issue. UNIFIED is the correct style. It fell back to the DECORATED style because it didn't find a style named Unified.

Suddenly my forms are all blank, they show in the designer though. Same as here; https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/object-not-showing-on-form.69022/

Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 3, 2016 #16 The UNIFIED theme will be removed in the next update of B4J. It will switch to the default DECORATED theme instead.
