progrmaticaly upgrade running apk

Hi,
I am new user
I want to know how upgrade the running program by new version?
my apk file (new version) downloaded from my server and placed to a folder.
and now I want to replace it with the running program.

Copy the APK file to the storage card and then send an intent similar to:

Dim i As Intent 

i.Initialize(i.ACTION_VIEW, "file://" & File.Combine(File.DirRootExternal, "ApkName.apk")) 'apk name is case sensitive.
i.SetType("application/vnd.android.package-archive")

StartActivity(i)

There is an Parser Error dialog whit bellow message when I run your code:
There is a problem parsing the package.

Have you saved the file in the storage card?

Did you check "allow installation of applications from unknown sources"?
