Android Question RadioButton unselecting

I have a Panel with 3 Radio Buttons that can be selected or not

Once the user clicks on a radio button it becomes selected and they can choose any of the other radio buttons fine. But there is NO way to deselect a button. I guess I could add a 3rd button to clear the states but that is wasted screen space.

Is there an easy way to click on a Radio Button that is already selected and have it deselect itself?

If I remember correctly Radiobuttons in a panel are automatically grouped, I think one always has to be selected. See https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/controls/radiobutton.html.

You'd probably be better to use checkboxes.

You can remove the selection by setting RB.Checked = False. However the user cannot deselect a radio button with a click.

Or maybe this is a case to use checkboxes instead of radio buttons.

Thanks for the replies. Rethought this and one of them needs to be selected at all times so I now set one as a default.
