In the IDE main menu, select 'Tools, then 'IDE Options', then check or uncheck 'Use Legay Debugger'. In your case for rapid debugger, it needs to be unchecked.

I have tried that but when I reloaded the compiler the option still does not appear.

After reinstalling B4A the rapid option does not appear but with Legacy Debugger off the compiles are rapid. Thanks for you help

The rapid debugger is the default debugger.
