RaspBerry 4 prices :-)

Recently the price for a RaspBerry 4 with 8 GB is almost 200€/$. A 4 GB one is 150 €/$ here in Germany. Absolutely ridiculous. What do you think?

The lack of electronic components led to this and too many people wanted the PI4 in relation to the processing capacity of the factory.
I wanted to buy a home NAS for myself. Then I found other possibilities: Orange PI, Banana PI, Rock64, Odroid XU4 and others.
However, I found a thin HP client and made a NAS on Linux OMV from it. The fact that the Rasberry PI is not bigger and consumes a little more energy is about 45 W, but there is a CPU with 2 cores, 4GB RAM, Gigaport, 2TB HDD and the system runs on a small 32GB SSD found at home.

I think, Raspberry Pi 3 is more than enough.. The raspberry project went beyond its purpose.. You can find a cheaper mini pc with ssd disk instead of Raspberry Pi 4

I bought a Raspberry Pi 4B 4GB with RetroFlag NES Pi4 Case Kit at around $90 in Apr 2022. Now it is around $100 but the seller is out of stock.

In second semester of 2023 prices will drop again significantly. Raspberry Pi announced that it has managed to order enough ICs to restart producing Rasberry Pis for the general public.

Rock64 is very good for NAS servers. I made one with OMV and it is running for almost 4 years without problem.

i bought 2 years ago RPi4 4G KIT Bundle for 78$. the same kit cost now 202$ from the same seller ?
i should have bought a stock of rp4 and sell them today ?
