RFID Mifare Classic cards

I am working on a project that requires reading Mifare Classic cards. Does anybody know how to read the UID and sectors off such a card?

I've played with the B4A NFC library, but no success. I have tried some applications from the playstore and all can read the tags.

Excuse my ignorance, but how does the mobile device read RFID? Do you have an RFID reader connected?

The NFC library currently only works with NDEF formatted tags.

Thanks for replying: any plans to upgrade the NFC library shortly? if not what should i do to make this happen ... please orient me . I am ready to invest time into building the library.

There are plans to upgrade the NFC, however it will probably not happen in the near future.

I know that some members have already tried to extend the library. Not sure what were the results. Search the forum.
