I am experiencing strange behavour under windows 8 (and I 'm sure it's probably me just being simple)

I load b4a from start screen. no problem and I can work on it all day without issues.

If I want another b4a project open. I again go to start screen and click b4a but this time it just re-focuses the one I have open. I don't seem to be able to open multiple instances.

Under Windows 7 I had no such issue. Any ideas?

Thanks

Yes Win 8 is wonderful, it makes My PC look, feel and work like a Fisher Price Toy!

OK Less rant!

The Win 8 mode is not very useful, the quickest way would be to go to the desktop (Press the windows key, or click the desktop launcher) and set up a shortcut there (if there isn't one already). Then launching from there multiple times.

I actually got fed up with the interface very quickly and installed classicshell which gives me a usable PC again.

Thanks Steve, will give it a whirl.

To be fair it's not all bad. Without the new look and feel, boot times are very fast, and it seems quick and pretty reliable for a new OS.

And me. Also get the gadgets back with 8GadgetPack - Gadgets for Windows 8 and steal the desktop games from XP as the Windows 7 and Vista games have a version check and don't run on Windows 8. Et Voila! Windows 7 back again and you can totally ignore the Fisher Price Metro/Modern child playground! :)

You can also get a nice colour scheme back in the Express versions of VS 2012 http://alinconstantin.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/using-color-themes-with-visual-studio.html. The Blue theme looks like VS 2010
