iOS Question sample tcp connection between iPhone App and a Windows application

I'm looking for a sample were an iPhone app communicate with a windows desktop application (MS VB6 application) via TCP.
WHich library to use?
How to specify the URL /( ip-address/portnumber)
No database in use.
Looking for a lightweight solution...

Remember that you need to open the relevant port in Windows firewall if you want to connect to the PC.
