    Could some kind soul explain how we write 'wrappers' for libraries?

    Thanks for the link DonManfred. I am still confused.
    The link in post #1 shows has a .jar file which I assume is the library to communicate with the gear fit.
    So how would we generate the .xml file to go with it?

    You need to write a wrapper for this. You need java-knowledge to do so.

    Elsewhere search the forum for tips on how to....

    There is NO automatic convertion for thirdparty jar´s

    Hence my confusion... is the jar file not a wrapper already?
    Or do I need a jar file to wrap a jar file?
    It makes little sense to me, so an explanation of what a wrapper is exactly and why we need a jar file to communicate with a jar file would be most useful.
