CLV is a UI element. You cannot save UI elements. You can store the data behind it to a file. There are many possible ways. KVS2 is indeed a good way. Add all the data to a list and store the list as a single item.
Ok...then. I saw some place else in the forum that bulding the CLV-Item at run time is much faster then loading layouts...

Not sure how it is relevant to the question in this thread. In most cases it is better to use the visual designer. If there are many items then create the layout items when needed: [B4X] [XUI] CustomListView - lazy loading / virtualization
