Android Question Scan barcodes with the CameraExClass - work only in landscape

I'm trying to scan barcodes with the CameraExClass. Codes are scanned only if the phone or tablet is in the Landscape position. Can it be forced to scan only Portrait (if it does not automatically detect the orientation of the phone)? Ty!
