Screen display on different phones

Hi

I read the posts / tips etc.. and I tell you the true I still cannot understand how to make any app look good on different phones
I have apps that I uses the desinger to create the buttons/label etc... and I have app that I used code to create it

I manage to get for few days Galaxy S1, S2 & S3
can someone post some code with the above that will look good on the above phones (1 page using desinger and 1 page created by code)
