Android Question Scrolling Text on Notifications

Hello All, is there a way to make the text scroll on a notification, i'm using Google's GCM and i need to display the message received on a notification but the text is long and I need the user to be able to see the whole text before he/she dismisses the notification, so I need to have the text scroll while the notifications is still alive.
Does anyone know how to do this?

It is not possible with a standard notification. Try one of the extended notifications libraries.
