Wish Select device dialog

I'd like to be able to right click a device ID and assign it a nickname

As well as an option to automatically keep using the selected device, till the next time you close the program anyway

I think select device dialog is needed for each build. I am frequently testing with different devices and have issues switching between.

This is the case if you are using debug mode (rapid debug) or background compilation.

I think select device dialog is needed for each build

In debug mode you need to clean the project (Ctrl + P) if you want to force the IDE to allow you to change device.
