Android Question Send Image using MQTT

I am currently developing an app that will be used for Road Safety. I have the need to send a thumbnail portrait image from the B4A app to the backend control room app in B4J via MQTT.

My current line of thinking is possibly a Base64 encode, send, receive and Base64 decode perhaps ?

Anybody with an idea or a pointer in the right direction or if you have done this, please share - I'd appreciate very much.

Why? Send it as raw bytes.

The payload can be very large. You will not reach the limit with images.

I amd sending images and audio using MQTT and it is a joy to use - so darn quick and reliable. I love MQTT.

It is very simple to send images with MQTT. However you should never post questions in existing threads. Always start a new thread for your questions.
