I would like to know if it is possible to send a calendar item (appointment data) to an app that is already installed. I believe that every Android device has a calendar app.
I'm using a corporate planning tool and want appointments made with this tool send to an Android device by a polling service on the device. If it receives an appointment I want to send (store) it in the calendar app.
I don't want to create a new appointment scheduler.
