Android Question Serversocket usage restriction work around for new Targetsdk level

Hi All

With new standard set with Targetsdk and minsdk apps using serversocket with plain text is there a workaround using the manifest to allow the app to work?

Im using a propietary encryption similar to ssl but uses any port so appears plain text but is masked.

Anxiously awaiting helpful brilliance.
