I saw that I can choose from two different Java versions: Oracle Java 8 or OpenJDK 11. I just wondered if there are any benefits to pick one over the other?

Solution DonManfred Jan 7, 2020 One needs a registration at Oracle, the other not. I just use the OpenJDK 11 now.

[1] (For our practical purposes of making apps, not for sending a spacecraft to the other side of the universe or squeezing an extra cycle out of the hardware to process hash tables etc.) Upvote 0
