Show Android contact list

Hi

I wish that my user will choose a name from his contact list
but i wish to open the "real" contact list menu, and not my list (which I copy inside the contacts)
and once he click on a name I will get the name he choose

Is this possible?

It is not hard to implement this feature with a library. I actually did it several months ago however the results were not satisfying and not consistent between different devices.

writing libary is too advanced for me (for now)
the reason for this is - I tried to use the autocomplete, but it did not worked
probably too long list or such

any other suggestions?

all you want is the name, not the id of the contact?
