Silly newb question...

This is a really silly question, but I wrote my first simple app, it runs on my phone without any problems, but I don't know why I occasionally get the following message when I launch it: It says, "Waiting for IDE debugger blah blah blah" (...or something like that), and then everything is cool. It doesn't return until I revisit the app many many hours later. Would someone be willing to enlighten me?

On the IDE, top of the screen, change the compile option to RELEASE.
