I got O2 XDA Phone I & II. There is no screen touch at all but there exist 5 ways joystick, function keys and 0-9.

It would be great if the deployment to smartphone is:
- installation free
- with full functions like PDA Phone except touch screen
- access to http and sqlite or whatever

So far it seems that the majority of people are interested in Smartphone dev...

If you decide to go ahead with development, roughly how long do you estimate it will take you to add this feature?... or will it be a separate product?

That's pretty fast.... hope all goes well in development. I could really use this feature for some future projects.

Keep up the excellent work!

It will not be a separate product.
I guess it will take about 2-4 months, but that is only an estimation.

Hopefully that can share same source as current basic4ppc. Of course under Smartphone's limitation.

I'm really looking forward to this. I just turned in my Axim for a Motorola Q and I miss my Basic4ppc! Let me know if I can help with testing.
