.so library...

Hi folks,

I have downloaded an Epson SDK which include a .jar file and a .so file instead
of .xml.

This SDK is developped for Eclipse.
Is there any way to use the .so file with?

Note that you will need to build a wrapper for this library.

Skipsy, I take it you are talking about the receipt Printer Driver from Epson I took a long hard look at doing a wrapper for this .so file, I must admit I found it a little too difficult to do and as the project did not happen I put it on the back burner.

If you are interested I will give you any help I can, I also was in direct contact with Epson UK about doing a B4A Library and they were a little reluctant to give me their blessing,I explained that I would not be altering their .so in any form shape or manner and in the end they gave me written permission to use their so file within my wrapper.

Their Java Sample App is very good and it would be nice to carry out the same functions withing B4A.

Humm... I am afraid this issue is outside my skills :sign0148:

I just realized that even if I understand how to add this lib, I don't know the
way to use it as I am unable to understand java exemples
That's why I love B4A : JAVA is for me one of the most unreadable
language I have ever seen :BangHead:
