I need to programatically create shortcuts in the start menu. I want this to work under any language. I think I need to retrieve from the operating system the names of the folders \windows and \startmenu. I thought I head seen this ability in one of the DLLs here but my search found nothing.
Many of the folder names are localized so we should not hardcode them into our programs. Is \windows and \windows\startmenu localized or can we always count on them being spelled the same?
